The Visitor Entry Tax is a replacement for what was previously known as the 'room tax' and the 'rental car tax' on the island. Non-residents aged 13 and over are required to pay the Visitor Entry Tax of USD 75 per person per visit.
Non-residents aged 12 and under and residents of the former Netherlands Antilles are required to pay the Visitor Entry Tax of USD 10 per person per visit. Residents of Bonaire with a valid Bonaire I.D. (sedula) do not have to pay Visitor Entry Tax.
The mandatory tax can be paid digitally as of the end of June 2022 at https://tourismtax.bonairegov.com or upon arrival at the airport.
